This paper scientifically, orderly, rational management focuses on the school’s assets, so as to improve the work efficiency, make the goods out of warehouse, distribution, scrap, return and supplies and materials inventory with report generation process to realize controllable open school assets and sharing of information resources.Asset management system is a typical management information system(MIS), the system is based on the specific needs of Chongqing College of Information Engineering Asset office and other relevant departments, using B/S structure, the software system with the JAVA language as the development tool, SQL Server2000 as the background database is designed, the system according to the actual requirements and mass the combined demand designed; especially the system uses the JAVA language as the main development tool, is cross platform, "zero client" and other characteristics, so it has the particularity, but without loss of generality, universal has the same nature units, suitable for school asset management.
