Corresponding to the rapid development of industrial production, Detection of modern technology is maturing. The vision detection technology which has been developed basing on the computer vision theory and has the merit of high accuracy, non-contact, and high automation, is being widely applied in the industrial production. However, along with the development of modern industry production technology and the microelectronic technology, there appears vision sensor which is different from the traditional PC based vision system. The vision sensor which has the characteristic of simplified, modularization and product, is wildly applied in many fields of industrial detection. This article completes the design of the vision sensor prototype based on DSP+CPLD and than puts its application to the detection of beer filling level, and through experimental demonstration, which meets the modern beer filling production need. The main achievements of this article include:1. According to the features and requirements of Visual Inspection System, the advantages and characteristics of vision sensor were analyzed comparing to Visual Inspection System based PC. Confirming the CMOS as image sensor and DSP+CPLD as core system implementation scheme in the stage of test prototype.2. Due to the multiple vision sensor modules and the limit DSP memory space, the memory space was distributed between different modules.3. The communication modules of system implementation scheme were studied; mainly in the Ethernet communication modules based TCP/IP. designed The network communication and tested the network transmission speed.4. This thesis studies the optimized method of the DSP system's software, and fully discusses each kind of image processing method in view of the characteristic of DSP hardware and beer fluid position image, and then chooses the algorithm that best suits this system. Detailedly discusses the beer fluid position computational method based on probability statistics. In the situation that satisfies the examination speed, the system can accurately pick out the fluid position.5. Detailedly discusses the beer fluid position examination method based on visual sensor, and designs the beer fluid position examination system which is consisit of the management unit, the PLC operation station and examination machine. Meanwhile detailedly discusses the photo source, the illumination way and the photoelectric sensor, and selects the right way of the lamp-house illumination and photoelectric sensor.6. Designs and realizes the structure of software system. The structure based on interrupt working principle, using the multi-duties realizing and real-time image processing project, extracts the position characteristic of beer fluid. And proof-tests the exposing time of the system, real-time image data gathering and examination code running time.
