Sensor technology, computer technology and communications technology. To adapt to the new generation of industrial process instrumentation are developing towards digital, intelligent and miniaturization direction. Therefore, people are using new measurements principles and detecting technology, the development of new detection products, and expand new areas of automatic testing. Magnetostrictive liquid level sensor is a new generation of high-precision measurement products in the field of surveying over the past 20 years. But ours developed products with its measurement precision is very low in comparison with foreign similar products, which restricted the effectiveness of our products in the market. The article analysed the basic principles of magnetostrictive liquid level sensors, and through many physical experiments discovered and proved the factors that restrict its accuracy improved, thus helping to improve the measurement accuracy .Introduced magnetostrictive basic principles mainly magnetostrictive effect, magnetostrictive reverse effect and Wiedeman effect, the analysis and...
