Research And Realization Of Multi-functional Equipment Module Based On LXI Bus

The thesis is about the sub-topics of project named "Research on Key Technology of LXI Multi-functional Instrument". Its main target is to study the design and implementation methods for LXI multi-functional data acquisition cards and digital multi-meter (DMM) modules, as well as relative techniques of data transmission through LXI Instrument bus interface module and systematic control platform.LXI Multi-functional instrument module implemented the data exchange through bus interface module and systematic control platform, and achieved the instrument operation and data transmission functions according to the orders send by multi-functional systematic control platform. At the same time, multi-functional network equipment can be accomplished through LXI bus interface modules.In this thesis, we introduce the concept of LXI Bus Instruments based on an analysis of national and international bus instruments. Then the features and advantages of LXI bus instruments are further analyzed, and the important role of LXI bus in the future instrument bus is explained, which reflects the importance and the necessity of this project. After the analysis of the requirements of the project, we focus on the research of digital multi-meter, frequency counter, high-speed data acquisition card and related LXI systematic multi-functional modules. According to the technical specifications, this thesis gives a detailed realization method and process, including the measurement theory, measurement draft and feasibility of different modules, the specific selection of components and the design of schematic and printed circuit board. As a complete multi-functional LXI bus instrument, this thesis also discusses the realization draft of bus communication module in detail after the introduction of measurement modules. Finally, testing draft of the whole system is brought up and it verifies the functions and key characteristics of various modules.
