Blog has been aroused and being focused widely in educational field for its"Free, Open, Share"and Edublog comes forward in great numbers since 2005. The application of Blog in education is in full swing, from classroom teaching, teaching reflection, subject study to teachers training of primary and secondary school. As a form of Edublog, teacher's blog has become an effective means for teachers'professional development in terms of"self-reflection, peer coaching, communication and cooperation". With the popularity of teacher's blog, teacher's blog is gradually changing into territorial blog----teachers'group blog. How to design and apply teachers'group blog to promote teachers'professional development effectively become an important issue for educational researchers.This paper aims at the development status of IT teachers'group blog as well as the objective factors influencing its development, and explores relative design strategies by means of literature study and case study. The relative design strategies include designing the reasonable form of group blog, setting rational subjects, playing the role of organizer, establishing effective evaluation mechanism and so on.First of all, this paper reviews related literatures that refer to"IT Teachers'Professional Development","Edublog and Teachers'Professional Development","Teachers'Group Blog"by literature study, then summarize the influencing factors of IT teachers'professional development as well as the functions that teachers'group blog promotes IT teachers'professional development through general analysis. Secondly, on the premise of grasping the development status of IT teachers'group blog, this paper selects several typical cases from very limited IT teachers'group blog, and then analyzes the common defect of them through data statistics and content decoding. At the end of this paper, based on the theory of Teachers'Professional Development, Distributed Cognition, Knowledge Management and Connectivism, it puts forward specific and targeted design strategies.
