The dissertation focus on the hardware, software environment, driver and system application, then designs an embedded communication platform, which can provide a common and feasible solution for the development of embedded systems used in communication. Firstly, the dissertation discusses the hardware design, including the overall structure and all of interfaces. At the same time, some assistant technique are introduced for instance: the PPCBOOT guide program, embedded Linux configuration, compiling and transplantation technology on the embedded Linux; Then mainly expatiates RTL8019AS Ethernet controller driver and serial interface driver of embedded communication platform; Finally, discusses the application program development and driver testing. A serial communication application and a simulated Ping command program are developed, which test the function and performance of the serial interface driver and Ethernet controller driver of the embedded communication platform. |
