The Research Of Embedded System Based On C~*CORE And The Design Of Ethernet Driver

With the arrival of the post-PC era and the development of Internet, the demand for the embedded products is gradually increasing. Therefore, embedded system has become a research hotspot. An important topic of the thesis is to develop an embedded teaching and developing platform based on the chip designed in China. Not does only the development help the technicians acquire embedded system skills, but it also has far-reaching significance to the chip industry of China.The development of embedded system includes the design of hardware, the reduction and modification of embedded operating systems, the design of device driver. Reducing and modifying embedded operating system according to the hardware, and then developing the device driver to make the system work.The thesis generalizes the definition, characteristic and structure of the embedded system, introduces the characteristic and source code of the embedded Linux operating system, and analyses the CCM3118DQ which is an embedded micro-processor adopted by the embedded teaching and developing platform. In addition, the reduction method and modification method is settled based on the analysis of the JARI-Linux operating system and its kernel code, and some insufficiencies of JARI-Linux are indicated by proposing the difference between JARI-Linux and Linux. At last, the thesis states the development method of the device driver, and presents the development of the CS8900A device driver.
