guaranteed.Managing each kind of books with the microcomputer is helpful in reducing the library staff's labor intensity, sand moreover is helpful in improving the efficiency and quality of the book management.Today when computer develops swiftly,its imperative to make computers,the sharp tools for information processing,be applied to the mass information management such as book management.whether the computer management information system is used or not is an important symbol of the science and modernization of the book management.The adoption of the book information management system can solve the problems above effectively which are often met in the daily management in the library,and it can make the management system perfect and improve the working efficiency as well.Compared with the manual labor management,the superiority of the book information management system mainly lies in these as follows:●Retrieves rapidly,research conveniently,raise the staff's working efficiently and reduce the malpractice in the tedious,cyclical long processing of receiving,lending and storing books.●The comprehensive automation of book management may reduce the loophole of the warehousing management,the storhouse management and the stock management,and it may cut down many expenditures,and increase the income.●The information can store a lot,maintain secrecy,and have high reliablity,so it can improve the book management level comprehensively.This books management system needs to be realized the functions in six aspects.They are inquiry function,book
