Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an innovative automatic identification technology, for its remarkable feature, it has been catching the attention of academic and industurial community. Data collection and processing is an important component in applications based on RFID. Recently, studies on RFID data collection and processing have made progress to some extent, however, the problem such as cost and consumption and so on which existing in traditional data collection schemes still limit overall application of RFID technology.With the rapid development of large-scale integrated circuit,embedded technology has been widely used. At present the advanced embedded processor is comparable to low-level PC benefiting from the advantages embedded devices, which are of low electronic cost, high ratio of performance and cost and excellent adaptability of environment.With the thorough analysis of RFID data collection theory, focusing on the approach of solving existing problem of RFID data collection scheme, embedded technology was introduced and then we proposed entirely scheme of embedded RFID data collection, in which the system structure was detailed and the technique trait was discussed. Moreover, the key technology of the scheme was studied in aspects of both embedded RFID data collection terminal and embedded RFID edge middle-ware.In the terms of designing embedded RFID data collection termination, we first started from analysis of demand of RFID data collection on embedded data collection terminal, and then proposed the systematic structure of the terminal. Moreover, the design of software and hardware platform of the terminal system is developed and the essence of establishing the platform is demonstrated. Finally, the embedded RFID data collection terminal is implemented.We illustrated the necessity of embedded RFID edge middleware, and initiated the software structure of it after overall study of existing RFID middleware. Moreover, we analyzed the modules of RFID edge middleware in-depth, and then proposed redundant data filtering technology for embedded RFID edge middleware. After analyzing the redundant data filtering and the implementing of it on embedded system efficiently, we designed an improved data filtering algorithm based Hash Table structure. The experiment show that the data filtering algorithm proposed in the discourse is highly efficient, which meet the application of embedded RFID middleware.
