The research of RFID technology has made remarkable progress in recent years.Compared with the traditional bar code system, RFID system has great advantages. It’sdistance of wireless transmission range can be up to100meters. Previous work mainlyconcentrated in the rapid collection of a large amount of label ID problem. The mainchallenge is to solve the conflict problem caused by the low bandwidth channelcompetition of the same label. The solution is divided into two categories: Based on theALOHA protocol and tree based protocol. The other kind of study is the tag numberestimation problem, this is to estimate the direction of research in a system of largenumber of labels using statistical method. This paper studies the important issue in large-scale RFID system in a very realsense. In the process of monitoring, the tag and the associated object might be lost. Thismonitoring function may need to be performed frequently, so we should design effectivealgorithm to shorten the execution time. In this way, we can avoid the normal operationcaused by the system interruption and make it tobe used widely. In order to solve the problem of searching for the missing Tag in large-scale RFIDsystems, this paper introuce the SIIP protocol based on single-hash function. Theprotocol use two technologies including the single hash function and Tag conflictinformation Boolean. Anothoer technology used in this protocol is setting Tag counter. It helps to remove the empty slot during tag reply, thereby shortening the protocolexecution time. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that, compared withthe basic polling protocol the SIIP protocol greatly reduces the executing time withouttransmiting the ID information. In order to solve the problem of tag conflicting which cannot identify the missingTag information, this paper proposes MIIP protocol based on multi-hash function. MIIPprotocol use multiple hash functions to avoid the conflict. As the same time with theSIIP protocol, it also removes the empty slot by setting the tag counters.
