Power line communication is based on power line communication channel for data transmission. It used the power distribution network as the transmission medium of communication systems, and on the basis to achieve a communication node interconnection power line channels, compared with the traditional means of communication power line communication system laying, maintenance, and management has a significant advantage, so it as a new way of broadband access has been a great concern.Research power line communications are based on the communication channel studies, this paper analyzes the characteristics of low-voltage power line channel, including interference characteristics of channel power lines, transmission line input impedance, channel noise and channel attenuation. Power line communication modem technology determines the transmission rate, transmission distance and noise immunity, which is the key to achieve power line communication. Direct sequence spread spectrum communication in particular spread spectrum communication technology and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing communication technology, compared with conventional modem technology, has a strong anti-jamming capability, such as anti-human interference, anti narrowband interference, anti-multi-multipath interference, etc., and have the information hidden, multi-site secure communication features, so they made more widely used in power line communication.This article conducting theoretical after analysis, which is suitable for low-voltage power line carrier communication scheme using power line carrier chip MI200E, designed a pair of power line carrier communication nodes to achieve point to point communication between nodes, including coupling circuit filtering the transmitting circuit, the receiving filter circuit. On this basis a software design of the system. Finalization of power line carrier communication node hardware implementation, and communication node system reliability, communication error rate experiments.
