In recent years, with the reform of the Chinese railway system, information management of railway transport has become modernized. As the core of the modern information technology, computer has led to significant changes in the socio-economic structure,organizational structure and the way of life, what's more is that it has profoundly changed the face of the world. The management system relying on the computer network has made the information management to be automated, and it has been regarded as a main mean of improving the management and the efficiency of the rail transport by the majority of the colleaguesLocomotive maintenance department determines the safety,efficiency,Locomotive life, as well as cost-effective of the railway transport. Under the new situation that the railway transport of our country implements the leapfrog development strategy, it is an inevitable choice to take the path of information technology and use the supply chain management model to realize the scientific management of the motorcycle parts and improve its efficiency, as well as access to competitive advantage. Against this backdrop, this paper analyzes the present situation of the materials distribution of the locomotive maintenance workshop of railway locomotive depot and brings up that locomotive maintenance workshop should make use of advanced computer network management technology and advanced supply chain management concepts to develop a series of maintenance workshop accessories distribution systems.First, in the aspect of the system development ideas, the concept of supply chain management is given and the core of supply chain management is analyzed, meanwhile the differences between the traditional system of logistics and the system of logistics of supply chain management mode are discussed. The application of advanced supply chain management concepts in the design of the system is helpful to implementation of the "small-level, short process, the flat, fast movement" scientific management during the accessories information management.Then, in the area of the key technologies, the definition of product structure tree, model, and the forms are introduced. The basic principles of database design are given in the design of product structure tree. The traversal algorithm of product structure tree is analyzed. This is to provide the theoretical basis for the ultimate application of product structure tree in the process of the system development.On the basis of knowing the core of the supply chain management and the theory about product structure tree, combined with the actual needs of locomotive depot, to meet customer requirements and focus on reliability, scalability, interoperability and efficiency principles, the system Process, the overall system architecture design are provided including the design of system database and security.Finally, Then locomotive repair shop management information system is developed with the help of ASP.NET framework, SQL Server 2000 database and C# as the developing language and using ASP.NET technology and ADO.NET database access technology. This system has made a try to run in the Nanchang locomotive depot, the operation result is good.
