The enterprise information makes the automation of operating, management based on network and intelligent decision come true. Automation of operating is the foundation and the intelligent decision is the crest. Succeeding in implementing will bring benefits, such as enhancing ability of competition, meeting the requirement of market, speeding the information flow in enterprise up, making good use of time information and improving quality of management, to the enterprise. The implementing will also improve the product quality and production efficiency, and make the management of staff, materials, processes, equipments and products better. The accurate real-time data is the most valuable information for manufacturing enterprises.The production management system is designed and implemented in the framework of ERP system, under the background of a small electronic manufacturing enterprise. In order to obtain a clear structure, the system is divided into four main sub systems: production process management system, product management system, semi-product management system and procurement management system.During the process of analysis of requirement, component diagrams, use case diagrams, the activity diagrams and data flow diagrams are used in static structure description, function case analysis, operation flow description and data flow description. The requirement of users could be reflected accurately by this. Based on these, according to modular thinking the database of system is designed. There are two important work flows which are used in manufacturing and procurement. It makes the distributed manufacturing and database synchronization come true. In the system, functions of product updating online and interacting with Protel are implemented to meet the requirement.In order to improve manufacturing efficiency, the application of genetic algorithm in scheduling of production is studied and implemented. By getting the manufacturing order of different products under the object of minimizing manufacturing time, the efficiency of manufacturing is improved. It is a very important direction for the staffs.The system is designed in B/S mode with three layers structure. The development environment is Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2003 with .Net framework 1.1. The database tool is SQL Server 2000 which is with excellent agility and stability. By running for a long time, the system is proved to meet the requirement of enterprise and bring better management to it.
