"Season", a very popular TV program arranging means, uses psychology successfully to enhance audience rating on the basis of mastering audiences'watching and consuming rules. It is used by domestic TV stations recent years, but unfortunately they don't understanding its essence. This thesis focuses on a series of problems arising from"season"to guide the practices of our TV industry.In the beginning, this essay gives a description of the definition of"season", the arrangement, choice of TV program in different stages, and three advantages of adopting"season".Next it analyses the necessity and possibility of adopting"season"in China .on the basis of pointing out the differences between American and Chinese"season", the essay gives a detailed dissertation of the timing, contents, arrangement and marketing strategies in the nativism of"season". In the end, the essay forecasts the changes arising from"season": the compressed managing mode, the appearance of audience analysis department and TV program innovation department.The"season"is adopted by more and more TV stations because of its pertinence, although this practice is in the early process with many problems to improve. Maybe it is the next gangplank to domestic TV channel and a good chance to make audience enjoy more wonderful programs.
