Research Of Network Streaming Media Recorder Server

Along with the continuous development of the network technique and the high performance processors, a new generation video monitoring system emerges on the stage. It shows the characteristic of exploiting server to effectively compress the simulative data directly, delivering the video picture and the control signals with streaming format to the network connecting end. The users get the video and audio data by the client software or the Internet Explorer in real-time. User also can make a plan to save the video. It can be very convenience to review the video in the future.This thesis introduces the history of the video monitoring system and the current situation, and it also introduces the functions and the structure drawing of the video monitoring system at first. A network streaming media recorder server system function definitions and system architecture are raised after we analysis the features and difficulties of the network streaming media recorder server system. Second, we have a detailed study of the key technologies, for example, MPEG-4, video transfer protocol, winsock and multi-threading programming. We summarize the whole design scheme of the network streaming media recorder server software system. We particularly analysis every important module's realization, and construct a software system architecture using the modules. At last we introduce the configuration of a network streaming media recorder server applying environment and complete the system functions and stability test in this environment. The test results indicate that the network streaming media recorder server system realized has fulfilled the requests of our design.In the end, the article draws a conclusion about the study work and makes a prospect of the study in the next step.
