Design And Implementation Of Data Conversion In Data Exchange Platform

With the economic globalization, the enterprise competition has already shifted from the company itself to the supply chain it belongs to. Therefore enhancing the efficiency of the entire supply chain has become a key role of boosting their core competitiveness. The enhancement of the synergic and forecast capability of members in the chain can improve the supply chain efficiency. It requires high integration of inter-enterprise systems. Data exchange platform provides enterprises with data exchange service, which is the base of enterprise system integration.The core problem of data exchange is that the data format is different and the data must be converted when it is exchanging. Informatization of SMEs is very different, and there are many kinds of data format which make the data conversion very complex. Therefore, research on data conversion for SMEs has great meaning.The data format of SMEs is mainly database and char divided flat file, and some data format is very particular. This thesis suggested a data conversion model based on XML for database conversion and char divided flat file conversion. The model bases on a model driven mapping model. It reserves many advantages of the old model such as the bidirectional conversion, and the data mapping can be customized. This thesis also suggested the data conversion based on it, and the design and implementation of a graphical mapping customization tool. This thesis suggested special customized data conversion as a complement. The data conversion this thesis suggested can solve the main problems of data conversion in data exchange. It is customizable and extensible. It can expect bright application prospects.
