Design And Implementation Of Enterprise Information Integration And Exchange Platform

Currently, most enterprises are facing the problems of information isolated islands;each application system can not cooperate with others. On the other hand, business information and data resource could not be instantly exchanged among enterprises. The key to solve these problems is to integrate all the heterogeneous data sources of enterprise application systems and offer a uniform interface to access these resources. Moreover, it is necessary to design and establish an effective data exchange method to help enterprises share their information. Thus, we designed and developed MiddleCase enterprise information and exchange platform to facilitate the enterprise data integration and communication with other enterprises.Due to the multidatabase has distribution, heterogeneity and local autonomy characteristics, system will meet many problems when accessing the data and processing queries. MiddleCase system provides a data integration tool to help access heterogeneous data sources and deal with these problems. The data integration tool has a friendly visual query defining interface, effective querying mechanism, and uniform data access interface. With the help of data integration tool, users can easily define the data they want to acquire, and manipulate the data transparently. Without concerning how to access distributed data source, application system developers will benefit from this tool.When considering the method of enterprises information exchange, we focus on how to integrate the transmission of integrated data and instant message. As Jabber/XMPP is an opened and standard protocol that supporting instant message, we adopt it to realize our own distributed data exchange proposal. The way is to construct the MiddleCase data integration service as an external component of Jabber Server, and transmit the integrated data to Jabber Server as XML stream pattern. As a result, customers could use the communication to chat and get data resources of other enterprise instantly and conveniently, which facilitates the information sharing and enterprise cooperation.
