The aid is to manage and inspect the process of project development better,which develops better project with less time and less cost.Firstly the thesis analyses the background of project management system, explains the basic architecture of project management and the recent research situation of project management system, and demonstrate the purpose and meaningof the research. Secondly the paper mainly gives the theory analyses including the meaning of project management, the support of theory, design principles and basic technologe.Finally the paper analyzes its functional characteristics and design principle of this system, the paper makes the division of module and design each module, including requirements analysis, overall design, main function ,detailed design and the safe design of website.This paper proposes a plan of the design and realization of distributed project management system. which adopts the .NET platform of the B/S technique. The system is three layer structure, which adopts IE browser at the customer, ASP.NET in the center layer development, establishment in the of backstage database the Micorsoft SQL2000, and in the server the Windows 2000 Servers+IIS6.0.This paper set up a Flexibility,open,portable and safety distributed project management system based on .NET, the technique and method adopted in the paper can be the reference of domestic the same kind application.
