As the rapid progress of industrial automation and the wide-spread application of computer, people's requirements of automation are higher and higher. The traditional control concepts and controller is poorer accuracy and stability than the intelligent control in control results. In the traditional control areas, PID controllers are widely used; it can be structured simply and has a strong adaptability. But simple PID control often fails to achieve a satisfactory level, particularly for major lag, slow time-varying, and the complex nonlinear systems. Now there are often characteristics such as some uncertainty of structure and parameters, pure delay or nonlinear coupling in the object-controlled in many industrial process control systems. Therefore, a single controller control system is very difficult to control industrial complex tasks. So now people began to study two or more kinds of control methods to improve the entire control system features. For example: fuzzy-PID control, neural network PID control, genetic algorithm combining fuzzy logic-neural network and so on.This paper introduces a kind of control method which is a combination of traditional control and intelligent control : control mode of single neuron PI embedded fuzzy querying table,which is a combination of traditional control and fuzzy, neural control. It compensates deficiencies of the various control methods and improves performance of the controller.This paper introduced the design and implement of the fuzzy controller based on the single neuron PI embedded querying table and completed system modeling, simulation and practical application. The results show that compareing to regardless of the traditional PID controller or the fuzzy controller, the controller has greatly improved robust and rapid characteristics; by simulating to movement of the object-controlled, reproduction of the true state of the movement can be shown again, and its intuitionistic and authentic characteristics are better.
