Nowadays, the concept of variable frequency has been into various parts of our dailylife, like changing the elevator motor speed is through to achieve. Either synchronous orasynchronous motors can change their speed by frequency conversion; this is all becauseof their composition and electrical characteristics. This design is based on a hardwareplatform of TMS320F28335which is produced by Texas Instruments of the United States.The intelligent power module which has been fully developed is now applied to theinverter module of the frequency converter. It has three pairs of six IGBT switchingdevices which is now more mature semiconductor switching devices. In the intelligentpower module has integrated a variety of drive and protection circuit that will reduce a lotof peripherals need to increase the hardware circuit for the engineer when they design thecircuit. In this design talks about the IPM module bootstrap isolated power circuit design,high-speed optocoupler isolation circuit, some of the key parameters of the calculation anddesign. Among these questions the bootstrap isolated power supply circuit is mean to drivethe IPM module in the N-side IGBT module, and the high-speed optocoupler isolation is toprotect the master controller that will makes the master controller and inverter effectivelyisolated.In the software algorithms, the control algorithm used here is voltage vector control(SVPWM), compared with the sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) algorithm has abetter DC bus utilization and harmonic characteristics. However, when running thisalgorithm, it needs to coordinate transformation, trigonometric conversion, a series oftedious calculation which will makes the algorithm for real-time implementation largelydifficult to achieve. So by the way of analyzing the modulation of the algorithm implicitfunction decomposition to identify a link between the two and using the SPWM controlalgorithm optimized to simplify the SVPWM computation will greatly reduced the calculation. Because of filtering the control signal to reduce the action of the switchingdevice times, so this will help to protect the electronic devices. These6channel PWMcontrol signals of TMS320F28335are divided into three pairs, each pair of complementarywaveforms are generated by the same source and also with a dead-band control, so this willtake care of up and down inverter switching device that is on the same inverter bridgearm.This means it will not open at the same time which will makes damage to the inverterand load.
