A Study Of Three Special Issues Of Festival & Special Event In Guangzhou During The New Era

As early as the Opium War in 1840s, the special issue appeared respectively in oversea newspapers and Chinese newspapers at home. From new era, the newspaper in China has developed quickly. The special issue also changed greatly. The special issue of Festival & Special Event becomes more and more important. However, the research of it is continuously a field few people touched upon in the study of news professional work. The research has been lagged behind the development of the special issue badly. For this reason, the author tries to make more systemic arrangment in the base of other scholars' achievements.In Guangzhou, there are three important newspapers, which is also important for the development of the Chinese Newspaper. They are Guangzhou Daily, Nanfang Daily and Yangcheng Evening News. In recent years, those newspapers' special issue of Festival & Special Event have become a crucial factor to attract readers' attention and win the newspaper market. Their development phenomena can represent the development Chinese newspaper.This thesis studies the new phenomena, the new problems and the new functions of the special issue of Festival & Special Event in new era. The article includes four parts. The first part is the definition and come into being of the special issue of Festival & Special Event. The second part is the development and the characteristics of the special issue of Festival & Special Event, including the phenomenon of the special issue of Festival & Special Event and its' background. The third part studies on some problems of today's special issue. The final part is several thinking about how to do the special issue of Festival & Special Event better in current.
