At present, the influence of special issue of newspaper is vital to the survival and development of newspaper. However, the research on the special issue lags far behind in practice. Based on the previous researches, the author of the thesis aims at systemizing special issue of newspaper and it's marketing in the hope of bringing some ideas to academic research and practice.The thesis consists of six parts. Chapter one introduces the features and existing problems in current special issue of newspaper. Chapter two expounds the factors of marketing as well as lately developed marketing concepts, and then analyzes the factors in marketing and the ways to put them into practice. Chapter three focuses on analyzing the classifications of activity marketing and its status in communicative theories. Chapter four analyzes the factors that cause the activity marketing for special issue to be popular. The Misunderstandings of marketing special issue of newspaper and their solutions are presented in Chapter five. The conclusion points out good marketing of special issue of newspaper will promote the development of special issue and the newspaper itself.
