The Australian Museum has many similarities according to the museums around the world as the world's an individual of Museum cause. At the same time, as a typical and representative museum of the Australian continent, The Australian Museum represents the difference between the museums of Australia to the museums in other countries and regions. Some of the characteristics of the museum not only inherit a lot of features (such as the Board of Trustees) that belongs to the museums of the British Commonwealth, while at the same time it reflects the features: The unique migrant culture and indigenous culture combined together. All these affixed the museums of the Australian a unique tag, and one of the most representative museums is the Australian Museum.Chinese state-owned museums start to carry out the "Free Tickets" policy in March 2008, so the fund of the museum has become the focus the question of the attention. At the same time, in 2008 we are faced with the worldwide "Financial Tsunami", all walks of life have been varying degrees affected. These state-owned museums mainly funded by the state and the government, whether we should still continue to wait and enjoy the financial support from the country and the government, or to find a way out to raise funds of their own to reduce the burden of the government. These are now most needed to be considered. For the reasons above, this article mainly focuses on the capital structure of the Australian Museum. Wish to see why this museum, without a long history, is very good at showing the local culture, history and other characteristics; meanwhile, it can also do the annual break-even; or even, almost every year, can save the remainder as part funds of next year. The Australian Museum is also a National Museum, most of her funds depended on the input of the state and the government. Then how could the Australia Museum increase its income, while the main funds are from the government funding, to alleviate the burden of the state and the government; so that the museum can carry out its own operation and development more securely and more neatly. In the present circumstances, those experiences are very good references for the development of our nation's museums. Our museums may make reference to the experience of their Independent income-increase, let our country's museums be able to develop toward more effective direction in the constantly reforms.
