Three Dimensional CAD System Design And Development For Electrician Electric Appliance

With the popularity of computer application technology, every walk of life has been developed. Especially in the electrical appliances field, the engineers and technicians use computer widely to design product and protract engineering drawing , which heightened the efficiency greatly.However, now we China doesn't have our own intellectual property rights of CAD software. That's why most corporations spend a lot of money on imported 3-D digital design systems.Therefore before designing product, they need to rebulid database and carry through Secondary development,which restrict the development of computer aided design(CAD) in manufacturing of electrical appliances. What's the worse; it makes a huge hidden trouble in those corporations.Based on China's CAD manufacturing of electrical appliances, this article proposed a set of design and development method about three-dimensional CAD system for electrical appliance product.They carry out this theory by taking TiGEMS system(General three-dimensional digital design system) of Beijing Qinghuayingtai Company as the development platform,and choosing VC++ as development tool to develop a system named EE_TiGems.This system is for the sake of electrical appliance product,and it totally own the intellectual property rights of three-dimensional CAD software.It fully uses the computer graphics image processing knowledge,combines some key technologies such as object-oriented method,DLL technology,dynamic memory management,agent mechanism and so on.There are six sub-systems in this system which are the components data management, the product design and management, the components production,the bus design,the opening panel design and the collaboration platform. Besides these,it also has two attached functions which are the Product assembly chart generation and the preservation of current design proposal.This system has so many functions such as design and manage the components, design the Bus ,design and assembling package the Low Voltage Systems and so on. It also provides designers a platform to communicate with each other, which is convenient for the designers sharing their knowledge and experience.Via protract three-dimensional graphics and build it's database for typical electrical equipment (GZS1 (KYH28A-12) Mid-metal sheathed Switchgear). This system proved that it can fully implement three-dimensional CAD design and development by EE_TiGems system for electrical appliance product,and accomplish virtual assembly. This is an availabl research of developing three-dimensional CAD system by ourselves.
