The Study Of Project-based Manufacturer's MRPII/ERP System Implementation

Modern enterprise management towards the trend of "operation of the process, the integrated features, the Organization of flat" under the pushing by e-commerce technology. MRPII / ERP provide the means of business decision-making for management and staff by use the systematic thinking, in order to enhance the operational capabilities and integrated management, and help to enterprise strategy's success of the transition . However, due to short investment on the corporate information of Chinese enterprises and the actual situation of the management, it become a bottleneck of business success. First of all, due to the huge investment of implementation of enterprise information system, such as SAP, Oracle, and other advanced ERP software that is fully functional, but expensive. For those big companies, of course, this may be nothing more money, then those small and medium-sized enterprises, especially those enterprise who want to do a good job of information systems but in the absence of strong financial support. How to do for them? Possible solution is minimum costs by change standard process and reduce the implementation time of the consultant through the implement. Second, because of lack of effective ways to manage the implementation of MRPII / ERP such a large scope, covers a wide range, the degree of complexity of the integrated project, all those reasons may impact successful implementation of the MRPII / ERP project.This article first chapter introduces the background and significance of this paper. First of all, we introduce the concept of MRPII/ERP, the history and the thought of management. Then, we discuses of basic concept of BPR (Business Process Reengineering) , MRPII/ERP systems bring what kind of benefits and the change of enterprises operation for enterprises. Chapter II of this paper introduces the status of MRPII/ERP project in China. Domestic enterprises are thinking what is MRPII/ERP. We introduce some MRPII/ERP software, application field of them and the characteristics. We analysis the factors to be considered for MRPII/ERP software. The third chapter is devoted to the basic status of IPSEN and the characteristics of the industry. Analysis of the company's information systems architecture, business process overview, and the business requirements. Address its problems and the purpose of the MRPII/ERP system implementation. Chapter IV introduced IPSEN's entire MRPII/ERP system implementation process. Discussion How to change the sequence of the activities for saving the cost. Finally, the assessment of the implementation of MRPII/ERP. Chapter V on the importance of BPR in the MRPII / ERP system implementation and the practice during the MRPII / ERP system deployment. The final summarizes the implementation and the further job of research.
