With the development of microprocessor technology communication and networktechnology, intelligent home network is gradually infiltrating people's lives. As ashort distance communication technology, Bluetooth has many advantages, such aslow power consumption, high security, supporting voice and data transmission,building network easily and low cost, so it's one of the most competitive wirelesscommunication technology which can be used to build home network.Around the Bluetooth wireless communication technology, this paper introducesthe overall structure of Intelligent Home Network, and mainly researches the designof the mobile controller of home network with microprocessor ATmega16L SCM. Atfirst,this paper introduces domestic and international development and currentsituation of Intelligent Home Network, then several technology and standards that canbe used in the Home Network are presented. It is showed that Bluetooth technologyhas more advantages through analysis and comparison. After that, this paper brieflyintroduces the Bluetooth protocol and makes Bluetooth host controller interface (HCI)be the development programme, then talk about its packet formats andcommunication processes in detail. This paper focuses on the hardware and softwaredesigd of mobile controller for Bluetooth home network.Hardware circuit is based onATmega16L which is a high speed, low power 8 bit microcontroller,using ProtelDXP software to design schematics and the PCB, there is a 9 pin serie port betweencontrol circuits and Bluetooth module, controlling Bluetooth module sending andreceiving data.Software is programmed by C in the development environmentICCAVR, including initializing Bluetooth, establishing connection, drivers of LCM,key scan, and so on, writing procedure with PonyProg .Finally, the research accomplishes the design and production of a mobilecontroller, successfully builds a Bluetooth Home Network of which center is themobile controller and achieves basic control functions to simulation electricalappliance.
