Since the development of information in the social life, the people’s requirementsof daily life which is intelligent, informatization and convenient has been increasing.Family life is an important part of people’s daily life, how to build an easy to use,high-efficiency, low-cost smart home system and provide people with a convenient,comfortable and safe home environment is a hot issue.In recent years, with the development of communication technology, computertechnology, the Internet of Things has become more perfect. Smart Home is a newfield of the application of the Internet of Things, it blend of advanced networkcommunications, computer, automatic control technology. With the technology,household equipments could run in good condition according to the homeenvironment information without the participating in of people. Smart home systemhas a very important significance to meet people to get comfort and convenience dailylife, the desire of a safe and relaxing living environment.Most traditional smart home communication by wired, so that there are manyshortcomings such as there are many complicated wiring, high installation costs,upgrades difficulties, poor scalability and mobility. At present, some of the smarthome internal network communication using a wireless manner, such as ZigBee. Asthe communication protocol is defined by vendors, it makes different vendors ZigBeemodule can t be used interactively. In addition, smart terminal equipment and the PCis not equipped with ZigBee module, and needs intermediate devices, so it is neithereasy to use and increase costs. For the above, this paper research and design a wirelesssmart home architecture based on the of Things technology. This system usingwireless communication to overcome the shortcomings of traditional smart home,such as wiring is complicated, difficult to upgrade, poor scalability. And the paperdesign a Bluetooth-based smart home controller to applies in the wireless smart homearchitecture. The smart home controller processor uses the mainstream ARMprocessor, thus ensuring the stability of the system and low-cost. And it adoptscompliant with version4.0Bluetooth modules. Its new low-power mode not onlycould ensure the controller work a long time, but also increase the communicationdistance between the devices and greatly reduced the system networking time. Theoperating system adopts Android which is widely used in smart mobile devices. Thesystem has a good stability, easy to upgrade and the source is opened. So it couldprovide user-friendly interface and good stability, and reduce the installation costs atthe same time.
