Design And Implement Of The Instructor Sation For The Power Plant Simulation System

The Instructor Station of the Power Plant Simulation System is used to train operating personnel, improve their competence of operating, and reduce accident incidence and also is an important way to raise operational efficiency of the Power Plant. The Instructor Station system, as the man-machine interface between the Simulation System and the coach, is a control center of the whole the Power Plant Simulation System. The level of the Instructor Station system makes direct influences to the usability of the Power Plant Simulation System.The paper concentrates on to study the design and development schema of the Power Plant Simulation System . The system adopts standard UNIX operating system as the platform, uses the latest X-Window window technology, with standard C language and strong Motif technology support of interface between man and machine, offers emulation control regulating function, and shows and the function of online visits database. The software system relevant developing platforms and key technology are introduced such as X Windows technology, emulation support platform, treatment technology of the data , communication technology etc .. Emulation support development, debugging and software tool carried out that the platform is the model ; its strong sharing database has offered reliable assurance that the function of the software is realized . Data treatment technology, communication technology offer powerful way and means for the realization of the instructor station software. The application of the User Interface Language being part of Motif provided many conveniences in developing the graphical interface of INS in the way of speed and efficiency.After the power plant simulation system hardware and software components are introduced, the function design on the Instructor Station Systems are presented, the implementation method of this software are introduced from three respects: emulation control module, graphical display module, and datum deposit and operate module respectively. Meanwhile, the Malfunction is chosen as example to present realization procedure, technological principle and some important realization details. The characteristic of the maintainability of the software system is also explained.
