Research Of The Collaborative Mechanism In Virtual Lab Based On Virtools

With the unceasing improvement of computer network and multimedia technology, construction of a guidable and inspirational online virtual lab has become an important research subject.Based upon the actual needs of collaborative performance, using for reference of AO thinking and CSCW theory, a design scheme for collaborative mechanism of virtual lab is put forward in this paper. Based on these research findings, the virtual experiment system is implemented in Virtools development enviroment.A Novel Collaborative Awareness Model of virtual lab and the detailed design of its components were put forward, and the optimization of dynamicly selection rules for the collaborative awareness sever was also ameliorated by the study on traditional collaborative awareness model. Based on the CSCW theory, an Interactive Collaboration Control Model was proposed, which was suitable for virtual lab. Aiming at the characters of virtual lab, a kind of Role-based and Fine-granular Mixed Lock Concurrency and Conflict Control Strategy was designed. Through the analysis of consistency control technology that existed, Local_laged Consistency Control Technology was used to sovle the consistency problem in the system. Finally, the effectiveness of collaborative mechanism designed in the paper was validated by test cases.
