Computer-Supported collaborative editing systems are one of the most important Domains in CSCW. It can easily help users who locate in different geographical position editing the same pattern at same time. Compared with traditional single-mode systems, it has many obvious merits, such high efficiency and low cost. It involves many research issues such as network architecture, data convergence. The cooperative mechanism between the coordinated clients is a very important issue in these systems. The quality of the cooperative mechanism and the coordinating efficiency are inseparable from each other. For now, most current cooperative mechanisms are designed by the intrinsic depending relationship among the different tasks, and the state of the user in the work flow. Due to the combination with the specific application, most of these mechanisms have less expansibility and reusability. Other cooperative systems have brought video and audio to support the communication among the users. The disadvantages of these methods are obviously. One hand, the data scale of the video and audio stream is very huge. Therefore these techniques have high demanding in the network architecture, especially in the complicated heterogeneous network. On the other hand, the background noise also has brought some unnecessary interference.Except for language and words, the Awareness information is a significant communicated medium. The awareness implicates many clues about our emotion, attitude, intention, and thinking. The deep study of the awareness can make a great help in the coordination between the cooperative users. With the artificial intelligence developing, people make a giant progress in awareness capturing and identifying, such as face expression tracking and recognizing, voice recognition etc. For the present, these techniques have already applied in the real software and equipments.Based on the background of collaborative editing system, this paper has proposed a novel model to supporting efficient collaborating through the multi-channel awareness information. This model makes full use of the artificial intelligence-based Facial Expression recognition technology, voice activity detection technology and other capturing technology, to work together in the user's awareness of effective mining. Meanwhile based on the characteristic of cooperative editing system, we construct an effective appraising model and multi-channel awareness supported model. The effective appraising model collects appraisements which toward the editing unit from all users' site. By calculating the appraisements expectation and convergence, which reflect the collaborative efficiency among the users, the model promotes users' cooperative works. The multi-channel awareness supported model, which base on the active awareness capturing and global operation flow analyzing, designs the conflicts rank and cooperative efficiency between two users.Finally, this paper implements prototype system of multi-channel awareness supported model, and validates its correctness and effectiveness.
