The research on distributed flight simulation system has very importanteconomic and strategic meanings in the new generation of flight simulationmanufacture system in our country .High Level Architecture (HLA) is a newtechnique which is developed from the techniques of computer network andsimulation. It mainly intends to solve the interoperability and reusabilityproblem of distributed simulation system, so that the cycle of projectdevelopment can be shortened, and the cost of development and the risk ofthe project's failure can be reduced effectively. It has a wide application inmilitary simulation. So the development of the distributed flight simulationsystemundertheHLAframeworkhasgreattheoreticsignificanceandpracticalvalue.Firstly, thisthesisdiscussesthe main contents, technicalspecification, basicconcept of the HLA and the technique essence, then introduces thedevelopment process of simulation application that matches the HLAspecification, and elaborates the main work of each stage of the federaldevelopment performance process model (model of FEDEP) in details. At theend, based on the example of particular background, according to theagreementframe of the HLA and each step of the modelof FEDEP,thisthesisanalyzes the development process and method of the large simulators'network connection through HLA, and studies the key technique involved inthe development process from applied view.This thesis analyzes the requirement specification of simulator networkconnection, designs the system structure, the logic frames of the simulator,and confirms the constitution of the simulation system. This thesis establishes the federal concept model and the federal object models of the true system,divides the federal member, and develops the federal.This thesis researches and carries out the algorithms of the simulationentities. At the same time, the basic tactics and trainings in the flightsimulators'network connection behavior are imitated. Because the largeamount data requires between the distributed flight simulators and theman-in-loop simulation system, it has a strict real-time requirement. Thedissertation putforward themethod andsolution of thisproblem. Analyzingtheconception of HLA time management and application, combining thedistributed simulation system with the flight simulation software architecture,the entire running time is considered. Although the time synchronization is notresolved well, but the method is put forward for the future.In the concrete application, based on VC++, HLA API function and basicRTI platform, the distributed flight prototype is developed. The functions andtactic indexes of native simulator and object plane simulator are realized. Inthecourseofrealization,thereal-timefederalprocessisdesigned.Thesystemis tried in the laboratory, the real effectiveness meets the expectedgoal.At last, the performance and function test of the distributed system wasdone by the software test group of the air force, and the entire performance ofthe system is summarized. The result shows that the system is consistent withthe requirement and test standard, the system is reliable and satisfies thenative flight training requirement.HLA has been applies in flight simulation system for the first prototypesystem indicatesthat the systemframe is more expansible and realizable, andit is meaningful in other related fields. The thesis begins with the basic runningstyle,the HLA applied rules,federation management,declarationmanagement,object management,time management,data distributionmanagement, then sets up the connection system of flight simulator. Thesystem has higher performance of realization and expansibility, and has thereference value for the research of applying HLA in the flight simulation. In the meantime, the systemis designedforthefuture solution of the flightproblems,so it could offer the future research direction.
