The configuration of embedded devices, such as, routers, switches and intelligent gateways is complex. To configure through the command-line will bring users a lot of inconvenience or it may be difficult for users to master, which will cause the products to be unwelcomed. In this case, it becomes trendy to configure these embedded devices through Web pages.This article aims to establish a Web dynamic configuration with a consistent style based on Intelligent Gateway device, to realize the search and configuration of some original and basic functions of intelligent gateway devices, so that developers can achieve the functions required only by increasing the files concerned.The Web Dynamic configuration referred to in this article is mainly based on the development of an intelligent gateway device, which is designed for service providers, corporations, educational institutions. It has so many functions such as connecting, authentication, authorization and charging, as well as anti-virus, share access, anti-spam, so that this gateway can filter and detect data packages. PC can access Web page of this gateway on the internet to search and configure all parameters of this device. First, this article describes the framework of Web Dynamic configuration. Then, it mainly describes two important modules in Web Dynamic configuration, that is, dynamic replacement and configuration submission. Dynamic replacement equals to a small parse machine and it implements the communication between clients and the components of the server through parsing XML files. Configuration submission accepts the data from the form submitted and passes this data to componential functions, so that it achieves the communication between clients and the components of the server. It designs the functions of each functional module of components, and illustrates the communication between Web Service and functions. Finally, this paper introduces us how to add one module on this Web Dynamic configuration.
