With the proceeding of the digital image processing, the modern industry and manufacture system uses CAD/CAM/CAPP accelerate the product's manufacture. The application of 3D Simulation in CAD/CAM/CAPP system acts a most important part. 3D Simulation technology can help people with design, production and checking. Users can have a direct sight in the products they have design, also with the 3D Simulation system's help, people can simulating the work processing and checking the step in any dimension. Therefore, the research of 3D simulation has very important significance.Combining domestic and overseas research on technology related to the status quo, this paper introduces the method of NC system's 3D simulation, the process has been separated into two major parts: One is the compiling of NC code and another is the drawing of 3D objects. Based of these, the paper studied the common structure of the compiler program, then, discusses the structure and the process of the words' compiler and grammar compiler. After that, this paper introduces the rules of the OpenGL programming and how to use it in VC++. It discusses the drawing methods and the expressions of the basic object. With these foundations, the paper gives the drawing program of the 3D objects. Because of the needs of the Simulation software, the paper discusses the real-time rendering technology, expressions and the process. At last it gives a complete programming for a NC system's 3D simulation.This software is programmed by Visual C + +.net and under OpenGL2.0 criterion for a PDM system has good application in key laboratories of digital manufacturing shop of Anhui province and China Electronics Technology Group No. 16 Research Institute.
