The Research On The Relation Between BOM And MRP In Production Management System

Single piece and small batch production is one of the important patterns in the discrete equipment manufacturing industry. It is based on customers' demand for product design and production, the product has many specifications and the production cycle is very long. For a long time to delivery on time and control the cost is a major goal in single piece and small batch production enterprises. Since the purchase management plays a vital role in the production organization process, the research and development of a modern purchase management system is an effective way to shorten the purchase cycle and control the cost in single piece and small batch enterprise.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign manufacturing information technology development and combination the characteristic of single piece and small batch production, this paper studies production management from logistics and information flow, analyzes the management problems in a reducer company. In view of the actual situation and the demand for production management system, this paper puts forward a production management design project which can adapt to the management characteristic in the reducer company. Through the research of the reducer product structure and characteristic of the process, this paper brings forward the converting principle of design BOM to others BOM in reducer product. According to MRP theory, this paper founds management and information model based on the actual purchase process and integration the purchase characteristic of single piece and small batch production. In the framework of these models, it depicts the design detail and realizes the integration with other branch systems.In this paper, the purchase and supply management system which orients to reducer industry realizes a computerized management from the purchase plan to the stock management, converts from the original manual records management into the management of information technology in the company. Through the adoption of the purchase and supply management system, it improves the purchase efficiency, shortens the purchase cycle effectively; it also plays an active role for the managers to make scientific and rational decision, and improves the management to a new level.
