Design And Development Of Lab Information Management System

Laboratory, which is the key site to carry out and execute elementary research as well as teaching, is always be an essential part for college basic establishment. The charge level and information degree have a great influence on the effective of cultivating and researching. While based on the advanced control techniques, industrial control network-study and intellectual instruments, the Liaoning Advanced Control Key Laboratory of Industrial Equipment, which has achieved a great deal of accomplishment and huge precious data on the aspect of industrial object-oriented modeling and advanced control arithmetic recently, is in such urgent deficiency of a set of Laboratory Information Management System(LIMS), so as to meet the requirement for performing high-level research.This paper makes demand-analysis towards this key laboratory. Owing to actual condition, a integrated design of LIMS is proposed, detailed description about the whole structure, selection of software and hardware, required functions are provided, the only purpose is to set up a set of LIMS which is compatible to the lab condition, safe for users' management, reasonable for apply and check, convenient for data operation. Meanwhile, this system also provides model-storage management for carrying out advanced control simulation and control methods study, besides, it is available to simulate through Web, which can be viewed as another particular function of this system.This paper designs a set of lab information management system with low-couping, high-expansion, convenient maintenance using MVC ideas, database related design and optimization are also achieved. This paper lays great emphasize on the thinking and total discussion on realizations of key techniques as well as functions, meanwhile, this paper provides application example of using the model-storage system towards batch reactor object, so as to illustrate the owning ability for this platform to share model resource and control simulation development, all this can provide better environment for researchers to carry out friendly and effective scientific research.
