Design And Implementation Of Lims Systems Comply With Glp Standards

LIMS, the short for Laboratory Information Manage System is an automation management software which designed to regulate the process, record the datas of the experiments, share the results of the projects and achieve the purpose of the office automation of the laboratory, and promote the process of the construction of the digitized laboratory platform. Early LIMS was used in the chemistry and petroleum fields; it has developed for 30 years since it appeared in 1980s. As the PC's universal and the Internet developed rapidly, the LIMS has infiltrated into other fields such as medic, biological pharmacy and so on. Nowadays more and more pharmacy laboratories are offered benefit from the LIMS, and the LIMS is no longer limited to provide the simple function such as the management of sample, human resource, instruments, and the print of the reports. Because of the globalization, knowledge economy, genetic engineering and the industry standard especially the publication of the FDA Ruling 21 CFR Part 11, the LIMS has been promoted to a level never achieved before.This thesis introduced the designing and coding of an LIMS which is satisfied by the GLP that published by the SFDA in China. According to the requirement of the customers and the modularization thinking, the whole system is divided into different modules. In accordance with the structure of the software, the LIMS is designed with the B/S mode. The system is coding by PHP 5.2.11, and the DBMS is MySQL5.1.45.The thesis introduced the process of the system analysis, preliminary design, detail design and the system coding by the order of the LCA. It also introduced the import of the project, the present sitution of researches, and the trend of the development of the LIMS. It emphatically described the tools and the ideas that used to design the LIMS.The LIMS contains the modules as project management, instrument management, process management, and data management. People could control the whole process of an experiment. The LIMS will make full use of the Internet which is incresing rapidly such as never previously existed. It also increases of efficiency and decrese the cost of the management of the lab, and security the datas with a high promotional value.
