| With the rapid development of Information Highway, according to the network's multi-media application is already not contented with data, speech, image resemble information, and already on a large scale face with the Video business development (stream medium etc.), and have emerged out the good development trend, traditional and one-way arithmetic digital television with the newly arisen stream medium TV create big market.Based on the existing digital television STB hard architecture, the single chip STB designed by this article uses the identical processingchip to complete the digital television signal as well as the IP content information processing, supports DVB-C as well as IPTV and the internet application, besides supports MPEG2, but also supports high definition H.264/MPEG4, the higher integration, but the stronger extension. The designed STB may simultaneously uses in IPTV and the digital television, thus has the very good practicability. First, the technology standard and whole design which is used in Set Top Box is discussed. It includes DVB standard,QAM demodulation and MPEG2 encode and decode technology. The whole design is consisted of hardware and software.Second, the implementation and circuit diagram of each hardware module is mainly analyzed. It includes demodulation module,demultiplex module and network module. Third, it describes the driver design of Ethernet controller. Most of functions in the driver are developed according to the source code of linux. It describes the realization of embedded TCP/IP stack. The end is realization of an open stack based on the realization of such protocols as ARP,ICMP,IP,UDP,TCP.With the check of experiences, STi7100 discussed in this article meets the terminal command and works well. The research of terminal STB has the obvious theory and practical significance. This STB which is of rich functions and reasonable cost, is a excellent STB.The overall performance achieved the new level. |
