After the speech business, new Stream Media business that synthesizes the data, image and video together just becomes a hot business on the Information industry. According to actual request in Surveillance System, such as throughput and dependability, combined with new progress in correlative research, this thesis discusses the design and implement of Stream Media System based on Embedded Web technology thoroughly. The System can be applied to various streamedia businesses, such as Video Monitoring System, IPTV and Video meeting.Firstly, the source and significance of this topic is set forth. The streamedia transportation and progress of the embedded supervision system are presented. Two kinds of typic application structure of the IP Stream Media Access Module are given; the work principle of the Module is also presented. By combining the system structure and physically the request, the ASIC MPEG-4 video-coding chip is adopted, to raise the system function and to shorten developing period.Secondly, the whole part of the streamedia IP connection is introduced. In addition, based on introducing the design structure of Hardware level in IP module, data processing between individual part of this level and the respective work principle are also been discussed.Next, the development of the embedded operate system is tallied up, and several all-purpose embedded operate system are given. Considering the process scheduling, the file system and operate systems transplant, uClinux is selected as the operate system inside the IPC. Then combining this topic system design, elaborates the boot procedure of uClinux and how to tailor the uClinux kernel, as well as the rock-bottom drivers of the key chips.At last, the structure of user application level is introduced. By combining some necessary technology points, this thesis discusses application skills of Web Server in this module thoroughly, and expatiates implement as well. They not only can be made use of at streamedia connecting, but also can be adopt in other similar embedded applications.
