The Design Of Embedded Midea Player

In this dissertation, an Embedded Media Player is designed. This system is developed based on high performance embedded processor. The MPEG-4 technology, MP3 technology, embedded Linux, and stream media technology are used in designing the system. By this Media player, we can use the VOD all over the network.In chapter 1, a comprehensive description about the significance of the research work is given. The current research status of multimedia player, embedded system, embedded Linux and stream media technology are also described.In chapter 2, a description about the programming techniques is given. The video compressing technology, the audio compressing technology, the stream media real-time transfer protocol and the technology about wireless network are also discussed in detail.In chapter 3, the hardware system design is discussedIn chapter 4, a discussion about the software system design is given, including the total system design and all the functional module design.In chapter 5, the Mpeg-4 video decoding is presented.In chapter 6, the MP3 audio decoding is presented.In chapter 7, a detail about the software optimiziation is given.In chapter 8, a description about the software testing is given.In chapter 9, the main research conclusion is summarized. The prospect of further research is also proposed.
