Researches Of Commonness And Variation Of Processes

With the development of information system, people will live without it in their daily lives including work, study and other aspects. The advantages containing convenience and high efficiency which are brought by information system have caused high dependences on it in the future development of every way in the society. However, these kinds of projects often encounter problems, such as deferment, overspending, and bad adaptability, due to the uncertainty and variation of the processes in the information system. Fortunately, component based development provides a favorable idea to solve those problems. However, the researches on the business component have been paid too much attention on the technical level, rather than the work on management business. Therefore, the application of CBD has never reached the anticipated effects.This thesis researches the commonness and variation of business processes from the angle of management to support the design and optimizing of business component. The contents are as the followings:Firstly, after investigating the relative researches include general situations about business component and commonness and variation, this paper points out the research contents, that is, measurement and implementing of the commonness and variation of business processes in the information.Secondly, the component based development which is an important method to implement the commonness and variation of business processes is introduced. After discussing the disadvantages of traditional software developments and the characters of component based development, this thesis proposes an information system development framework based on components based on the analysis of commonness and variationThirdly, commonness of business processes should be studied. Therefore, after giving the mathematic description of business processes, a measurement method, which is commonness index of business processes, is proposed which begins from two different aspects which are entities and functions among the business processes.After that, variation of business processes should be studied too. Discussing the variation characters of time and space, a measurement formula is given out, the purpose of which is to optimize the domain-commonness components and applied particular components.Lastly, this paper analyses some foundational business components in the logistic domain according to some investigations on the backgrounds of some logistic information systems.
