Static load testing is the most direct and reliable testing method of determining load capacity of pile and foundation in construction. Static load testing instrument is used for automatic testing in static load testing. But the cable of static load testing instrument is ponderous, and it is inconvenient to use in static load testing.Based on in-depth analysis of short distance wireless communication technology, this thesis proposes a wireless solution of static load testing instrument's data transmission by replacing the cable with wireless transmission system. This solution not only reduced the cost, but also realized a multi-point measurement and expanded the function of the system.This thesis first gives a brief introduction on each module of the hardware design. Emulation was made in this system by ADS radio frequency emulation software and it supplied references to the design of RF board, which conformed to the principle of RF circuit design and provided guaranteed communication performance of the wireless transmission system.This system divided the protocol stack into 3 layers including Physical layer, MAC layer and Application layer with a hierarchical design method and explicit defined the functions of each layer, the frame format and the interactive process. SDL was introduced to the design of the protocol to ensure the validity. This system also simulated several timers with a timer of the microcontroller for the MAC layer and the Application layer.In the end, this thesis puts forward the test results of the functions and performance of the system which indicated that this system had met the design requirements. The wireless transmission system was well designed and had significant practical and economic value.
