A Preliminary Study On The Phenomenon Of Politics On Internet In China

This thesis tries to make a preliminary study on the phenomenon of politics on internet in China from the perspective of international affairs debates among Chinese netizen. Chinese netizen differ greatly in their opinions of international affairs and fierce debates among them take place on internet frequently. This thesis compares and analyzes basic international views as well as foreign policy arguments between Fenqing and Hanjian(traitor to China). Moreover, this thesis explores deeply into the phenomenon of Fenqing and Hanjian from macro and micro perspectives, such as historical origin, contemporary social circumstance, text style, behavior mode, psychological mechanism and personal information. Following the aforementioned discussion, this thesis attempts to extract some valuable theoretical ideas as well as policy suggestions.
