A Research On Zhao Chaogou's Comments

Zhao Chaogou was an outstanding journalist, a noted social activist and the essay of our country, and the director of Xinmin Evening News agency. He had achieved three kind of immortality in his lifetime. Interviewed and written a long newsletter Yan'an in January, reporting the real situation of revolutionary areas in an objective and fair way; Successfully handled the first portion of the socialism evening paper of our new country, and contributed useful experience for the whole nation press; In nearly 60 years of journalism, he had written a great quantity of well-known, small enlightening remarks and essays, until 83-year-old passed away. Especially his commentaries, not only the creating time was long and the quantity was mass, but also the quality was higher and higher.The dissertation takes the comments of Zhao's lifetime as the research object, according to the basic factors of news commentary, through the text analyzing and the comparison analyzing, to analyze the subject selection,making points,arguing measure,style of writing,Zhao's personal experience,character and the special historical and geographical environment. The goal is to generalize the characteristics of Zhao's comments, to dig reasons of these characteristics and to discuss the enlightenment and inspiration of Zhao's comments to the present age society which remarks are growing vigorously.The dissertation is divided into 5 parts. The first part concerns Zhao's experience in journalism. The author exhibit Zhao's journalism experience which lasted nearly 60 years and his contribution on the press. Part two concentrates on analyzing the development of Zhao's comments. From a vertical perspective, the author generalizes Zhao's comments in various periods and focus on inquiring the evolution of Zhao's comments in 60 years. Part three summarizes the characteristic of his comments. From the horizontal point of view, expounding the four kinds of characteristics in his comments. Part four discusses the reason why those characteristics exist. The author probes into the interior and exterior reasons. The last part is devoted to appraise Zhao's comments. The dissertation reveals the significance of his comments to the development of the comment in China, and shows the reference and inspiration effect on the contemporary reviews.
