The Research And Application Of Equipment Management System In Tele-com Industry

In our country, the information construction of middle and small size enterprises is at the initial stage, in the environment of the increasingly intense international market competition, the information construction degree has significantly influenced the competitive power of the middle and small size enterprises in our country. At present, ERP system is the most primary way of enterprise information management, ERP system uses the computer information processing method to plan and manage the resources of the enterprise. On the equipment managing aspect, if we use the traditional method to record the equipments'basic and relative information, and then register them by hand, it is hard to suit for the large quantities of data and the fast speed of the enterprise operation pattern today. Using the ERP system to manage the equipments is an indispensible method and an inevitable trend.The equipment management system based on ERP system could manage and monitor the equipments of the enterprises effectively, through which the information and the data of the equipment exchange fast and safely in different departments. Besides, it also supports the top management's decisions. This paper starts from the basic management theory of the ERP system, analyzes the equipment managing processes, discusses the architecture of equipment management system, management method and application value. It also describes how to enhance the cooperation of the different departments involved in enterprise equipment managing process. In order to manage the equipments effectively, this paper, using metadata thoughts, designs the metadata model to describe the equipments, and then, gives the operation system of the whole system. It mainly introduces the stoke management module, information searching module, employee information management module, supplier information management module and user management module.
