The new test equipment for fire emergency luminaries is very important to our test center. It fills in vacancy for our test pursuit. With the rapid development of electronic technology and automatic control theory, it is very convenient for us to excogitate the test equipment with high performance and quality.There are some shortages in the old test methods along with the improvement of fire emergency luminaries. For one thing, the component integration isn't in a large scale, it doesn't satisfy the function to expand. It's also can't collect a data for the experiments at the same time. For another thing, the whole automation level of its subsystem isn't very high, parts of functions depend on mechanical operation to carry out. Therefore it's necessary to design the new test equipment for fire emergency luminaries.In this paper, the microcomputer (PIC chip) is adopted as the micro processor. The main function of test equipment can be generalized as follows: test emergency time, final voltage, static state current, iterated conversion , communicate with upper monitor.PIC16F877A is used as the core processor to design the signal detection circuit which can realize the functions of A/D sample, digital signal processing, displaying and outputting.At last, the software programming is given. And the emphasis is the realization of Delphi on PIC16F877A.
