Grid map-management system is a sort of integrated management for grid graphics, attribute information of equipment and facilities and other basic data. How to quickly and effectively grasp the status of power grid equipments and properly manage the information is one of the important problems that power enterprises must research and solve. Distribution network of Liaohe-Oilfield which has massive assets, equipments, personnel, customers, internal business types, and has large amount of information to exchange is scattered and has frequent changes in the structure. With the rapid growth of electricity resources, the traditional manual method has been unable to meet power grid Management needs. Modern management is urgently adopted to improve the work quality, efficiency and service.At present, the grid map-management system, which is based on GPS positioning technology, com-GIS technology and PDA technology, is a new information management tool that has a direct integration into the modern electricity production and operation activities. This grid map-management system which is an important component part of the future "digital power grid management system" can not only give vivid and graphic image of the power grids of information and equipment attribute information, but also can extricate a large number of workers from the traditional management and achieve the rapid updating of information and properly management.This system which takes advantage of computer technology, GIS technology, PDA technology, database technology, network technology to achieve the organic integration of transmission and distribution equipment graphical information, polling information and geographic information build a digital map information-Platform of power grid information construction of a for all grades of management and provide accurate, reliable and timely information resources of the grid. Based on the analysis of oil distribution network structure and characteristics of the system, this paper designs the logic of the system structure and the function modules and system database of desktop management. In the stage of the system development, it gives a detail description about the solution for the position information reading and processing of GPS, and the resolving plans of system visualization management with ComGIS. It is believed that the work done by the paper can effectively promote the management of power grids of Liaohe-Oilfield.
