The Research Of WIDOSNet Centralizer's Data Transmission And Flux Management

Wideband Intergrated Digital Optical Synchronous Network(WIDOSNet), based on fiber-optic communication, SOPC and Synchronous Digital Hierarchy technologies, fulfilling the functions of traditional switches using the concept of Data Selecting on Chip, and provided with the flexibility of variable data bandwidth, is a fully new computer network. The article first introduces the network's characteristics and stucture. Then it focuses on the centralizer module of this network's designing prosess and it's improvement, using the Quartus II software to design each module's function of the centralizer, using the Protel software to design the whole circuit of the centralizer module, accomplish all the functions of the centralizer module both in software field and the hardware field. At last it discusses the next design content for the future in theory field.The arcticle putting emphasis on introducing the software design part of the centralizer module such as data synchronization, first-in first-out buffer's writing and reading, Manchester encoding and the design of the clock module, describing each module's structure of the centralizer module based on particular demonstrate, and listing the ultimate simulating chart. The article also emphasises on the difficults and solutions in the course of the design process, and some module doesn't has one design method, the article also gives each idea's advantages and disadvantages and points the ultimately adopted one.The other important part of this article is the design of circuit board, it particularly discribes the schematic design process, discussing the reason of choosing the component of the circuit board and intrducing each module's function and design principle. The article gives the ultimate design plane fig and the three-dimensional effect Fig of the circuit board in the appendix part.In conjunction with the network and nowaday's LAN, The end of the article points out the insufficiency of this design and the problems to think over in the future process, and gives the solutions of some problems for reference.
