With the rapidly development of electronic products, the micro-miniaturization, the network and the multimedia have been its new directions. It is more and more strictly to PCB production craft, which is the foundation of electronics industry. High performance film automatic alignment system is the important guarantee of the high precision alignment. The quickly developed microcontroller technology, especially the advent of digital signal processor, boosts the development of control technology, and makes the realization of high efficient and precise automatic alignment control system possible.Based on the theory and makeup of the process alignment system, we analyzed the characteristic of the system model. In order to find a control strategy adapt to the register system, we introduced several classes controller, then gave a PID controller, and then realized them by thumb rule.According to the working feature of alignment system, a novel control and realizing method of automatic alignment system that uses a single motion control card, which is based on CAN bus and DSP, The system's controller chip (DSP) which has powerful operation ability and excellent performance can make the controller system more precise. At the same time one toper computer can link dozens of sub- systems by CAN bus, so it can make the circuit more simple and upgrade more convenient. Used the C language and the assembly language has compiled the software, which include controlling the step-motor movement and communicating with the toper computer.High efficient and reliable DSP chip TMS320LF2407A is embedded in this control system as the alignment system controlling chip, making it more advanced than the traditional control system both in performance and reliability. The applications of the control system in practice show that the alignment precision and alignment speed of automatic alignment system can be improved greatly,with the help of the control system. So it has very good prospect in application.
