| The contemporary in-depth report which rose in the 80s last century has been an important means for the media to strengthen its competitive power and influence. On the basis of looking back and summarizing the developing course and characteristics of the contemporary in-depth report of People's Daily, this article centers on the in-depth report page of People's Daily, Perspective News, to analyze its operating technique. This article tries to present a developing way of the in-depth report of People's Daily in the contemporary period, hoping to provide reference and inspiration for the news reform of the Party organ.This article mainly consists of 3 parts.Chapter 1, showing the developing ways of the paper's in-depth report in the contemporary period in the background, the article combs out the developing course of the in-depth report of People's Daily, sums up the characteristics of the reports and points out its shortcomings by combining concrete examples.Chapter 2 focuses on the in-depth report page Perspective News, which was put out with great efforts by People's Daily in the correcting and extending editions in Jan 2003, and makes brief analysis about its establishing background, the reason why established, the general situation and the location of the page.Chapter 3 is the major part of this article. Centering on the lead news of Perspective News, using a way combined of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the article made an overall analysis on its subjects and patterns by grasping a large number of samples in order to summarize the operating technique of the current in-depth report of People's Daily. |
