The play adopts Browser/Server model,chooses functional server and disk array as hardware support,Helix Server9 of RealNetworks as the service program.As to the file-transmission,the writer designs the internet transmission interface on server and users respectively,and designs the search model on internet video.The plan is developed by comprehensive using many technologies such as streaming media VOD,ASP(Web designing),ADO(Database Linking Technology),MS SQL Server 2000 after a thorough study.This system is quite suitable for schools and practical with advanced techmologies,satisfactory functions and low cost.It's realization provides the teachers and students with service platform based on streaming media,increases the campus web information service content,promotes the building of digital campus.
